Meet the Team — The Certified Quran Teachers Behind Dar e Arqam School

Every teacher here has been individually selected, qualified, and vetted. These are not contractors from a marketplace — they are dedicated educators who have chosen to build their teaching career with us because they believe in what we are building.

A great Quran teacher is a rare person. They need Islamic knowledge, yes — but they also need patience that does not wear thin on the hardest days, creativity to find a new way to explain something a child is struggling with, and a genuine warmth that makes a child feel seen and celebrated even when they make mistakes.

Every person on this page has been through our four-stage selection process — and every person here has passed it not just with credentials, but with the kind of human qualities that cannot be taught. We are proud of this team.

Our Teacher Selection Process

Every teacher goes through a strict multi-stage evaluation process before joining our academy. We do not compromise on quality — ever.

STAGE 1
Application & Credentials Review
Every applicant submits their Islamic qualifications, teaching history, and references. We verify every credential directly with the issuing institution. Applicants without verifiable qualifications are not progressed.
STAGE 2
Quran Recitation Assessment
Our lead Quran teacher conducts a live recitation assessment. Tajweed accuracy, fluency, and makharij quality are evaluated against the standard we hold for all students. If a teacher does not meet this level, they are not selected.
STAGE 3
Teaching Demonstration with a Child
Applicants teach a live 20-minute sample lesson with a beginner child. We evaluate patience, adaptability, communication style, and ability to build rapport. This is the most decisive stage in the process.
STAGE 4
Background Check & Final Interview
Successful candidates undergo a background check and final interview covering teaching philosophy, experience with children, and alignment with our academy values. Only then are they accepted into our team.
