Learn Noorani Qaida Online — The Perfect First Step for Every Beginner

Teach your child the Arabic alphabet, correct pronunciation, and Quran reading basics — live, one-on-one, with a certified teacher. Starting from absolute zero.

Before a child can read even a single verse of the Quran, they need one thing: a solid foundation in Arabic. That foundation is Noorani Qaida — the world’s most trusted beginner’s primer for Quranic reading.

Our online Noorani Qaida course teaches children every Arabic letter — its name, its shape in isolation and in connected words, its correct point of articulation (makharij), and how it sounds with each vowel mark. By the time your child finishes this course, they will be able to read Arabic words confidently and will be fully ready to begin reading the Quran.

Everything is taught live, one-on-one, by a certified teacher who specialises in teaching young learners — at a pace that feels comfortable, not rushed.

What Is Noorani Qaida?

Noorani Qaida (also written as Qaida Noorania) is a structured Arabic reading primer designed specifically for non-Arabic speakers — both children and adults — who want to learn to read the Quran correctly. It was compiled by Sheikh Noor Muhammad Haqqani and has been used worldwide for over a century.

The course covers 17 progressively structured chapters, taking a student from recognising isolated Arabic letters all the way to reading connected Quranic words and short verse excerpts — with proper Tajweed applied from the very beginning.

How Long Does Noorani Qaida Take?

Most children attending two to three sessions per week complete Noorani Qaida within three to six months. Children who practise daily between sessions often finish faster. There is no rush — the teacher will not move to a new chapter until the current one is fully understood and mastered.

After completing Noorani Qaida, your child moves directly into our Quran for Kids course and begins reading from the Quran — with a strong, accurate foundation already in place.

Our son started with Noorani Qaida not knowing a single Arabic letter. Four months later, he was reading short Surahs from the Quran. The teacher had so much patience with him — never made him feel behind or slow. We are so grateful.
